The Beginning of an End

I've been looking for a bible verse that I ran across not too long ago. It mentions Jesus speaking to his disciples, informing them his father has prepared a place for them, causing no need for their speculation (John 14:1-3). As human beings, the pain of dying, whether its through natural causes or even an intense accident on a freeway, appears painstaking and overbearing. God has promised us that through the death of our bodies, we will transcend into Heaven after claiming him as our Lord and Savior. No, I'm not trying to preach or stand on my own personal soap box, but I just wanted to assure all that there's indeed life after death. Our lives can at times appear so discouraging that suicide appears to be a perfect copout; an unacceptable exit from this dangerous world. God has promised us that if we can endure the cons  upon experiencing this earthly life, that we will indeed be rewarded his promises. Losing a loved one, a close friend, or somebody you barely know can bare weight upon a person's heart. It indicates a metaphoric hole that has been made upon their souls, causing them to feel empty, longing for something or somebody to suppress those emotions. A former pastor of mine by the name of David Braxton mentioned a quote that said inside our hearts are "God-shaped vacuums that only God can fill". Don't ever believe that somebody is taken away from you. It's simple to say that God has appointed them their time limit here on earth, that they've done their job and that it's time to go home; time for their souls to be housed in its rightful place. So sing a joyful sound upon their departures for they are ascending home, a room individually set aside by God's will, and don't be afraid of life, for fear is NOT of God. It's through him that we have strength, endurance, courage, and hope.
