"You're not being realistic"

Don't you get tired of hearing that? At that moment, it seems that everything we say, to them, is idealistic and not considerably possibly. What most people don't understand is that it's not that we aren't being realistic, it's that we have "back-up plans". Now, if a person just lost a loved one and someone comes up to them, worried that things will fall apart financially and that it would be emotionally/psychologically devastating as they proceed for the rest of their lives and they say, "God will take care of me", they automatically assume that they are not aware of the circumstances they have been placed in. You see, it's not that we who believe in God aren't realistic, it's that we have more faith in the WILL OF GOD rather than the WILL OF MAN. They have to go on living, knowing that their will be a physical void that no human can replace (and that's when God steps in). God is their to heal the womb and make them stronger.  Thinking of this reminds me of possessing the privilege of driving a car. Idealistically, accidents occur. Nature may decide to throw a tree your way and total your car or even toss it across town during hurricane season. It may even cost your life or the life of somebody else. If that's not idealistic, I don't know what us. In life, our bodies are our vehicles. It gets us from point A to B, and sometimes even Z, depending on how fortunate we are. Like a car, our well-being is what matters the most. That's when God comes in. He is our ultimate insurance policy. So when things are going wrong and you're in a mental wreck and you feel that you can't go on, remember that God's will is taking place. Trust in it like you trust in State Farm, All State, and Farm Bureau.  God's will isn't idealistic, it's as realistic as life can get because we may not agree with his policy, but it sure insures us a better tomorrow, in this life or the next.
