Where Is God?

There are many times in our lives when we ask ourselves as well as other people this question: where is God? I'm aware that we can't physically see Him because of course, if we could, we wouldn't be able to with the human eye.  We usually find ourselves inquiring his presence when we need Him the most. We become upset when we don't see Him at our jobs, in our households, with our friends, relationships, and even our paychecks (yes, especially our income). Sometimes, it's even hard to see Him in churches. That's weird, right? Even fully devoted preachers find it hard to convince his congregation that God is indeed in TOTAL CONTROL due to them choosing to take the initiative and trying to fix things on their own. I will have to agree with those who say that God is not apart of their lives because of one reason-they are not placing Him there. We take part in countless praying, fasting, attending sermons, yet we refuse to submit full authority. God ask that we give full dominion over to Him. That includes our income, our families, friends, relationships, and even personal perspectives. Asking this question repeatedly, in my opinion, doesn't mean that we are entirely doubting God, but  doubting ourselves as well. We are a lot stronger than we give ourselves credit for because it's through Him that our strength is enhanced (1 John 4:4). If ever you find yourself weak or lacking strength and perseverance, remember that God has your back, your front, sides, top and bottom.  It's all about pulling everything out of your pockets unto the table and letting God have it. It could be your last dollar or a picture of someone you love. Remember, it's not that God isn't there, is because you won't allow Him to be present. Open your heart, relax, and let The Man do what He does.  God is the ONLY ONE you never have to second guess when he says, "Trust me."
